West Sussex Seaside Resorts West Sussex is a coastal county in southeast England more or less due south of London. It's twin county East Sussex lies to the east; the city of Brighton is situated on the border of the two counties. West Sussex has a population of around 760,000 people and coastline of around 40 miles. The county is mainly rural in nature with most development along the coastal strip. This area contains the seaside towns of Chichester, Bognor Regis, Littlehampton and Worthing. Other notable towns are Arundel - famed for its castle and Crawley - renown for its airport - Gatwick. Access within the county is good as the A27 runs along the coast and access towards London is provided via the A24 or A23/M23. The A23 around Gatwick can get very busy and the A27 coastal road is busy in the summer months. Below are links to West Sussex seaside resorts.
